05/07/2025Our Guide was Jakob, not Miguel. Jakob showed his inexperience. Examples include not speaking clearly (he would ramble and mumble, both in Spanish and English). Information he provided was quite basic in quality and amount, and often incorrect or was about anecdotes from his personal contacts. For several days, he conversed only with a few favoured passengers in the front seats. He made no effort to have conversations with most of the group, and passengers were not encouraged to move around the bus so that they could be nearer the front or get window seats. He promised to assist passengers to carry their luggage up stairs at Loen Hotel, but then just disappeared with his own luggage. He spent a lot of time over days trying to sell optional tours at Geiranger and Briksdal, yet provided little explanation of what each tour included, or more importantly little about how alternatives could be taken (eg there were other boat trips at Geiranger). Generally, Europamundo organised the trip very well. Everything worked, the itinerary times were accurate, routes were selected for best traveller experience, days were full of things to see, hotels well selected. However you need to do more to cater for non-Spanish speakers. As noted above, Jakob was useful only to note the times when we had to be back at the bus, or where the bathrooms were. Miguel was competent and professional but only spoke Spanish. City guide in Copenhagen only spoke Spanish. The thing here is that part of the price of the trip includes descriptions and explanations by a resident guide, but the non-Spanish speakers got very little of this.

02/07/2024Los lugares y paisajes son maravillosos Los hoteles muy buenos. La guía Paula es excelente. El bus cómodo y limpio. No muy moderno, no tenia enchufe para recarga del móvil y en tantos km. De ruta que se recorren por día se torna necesario.
